APC vs PDP: Appeal Court Sacks House Of Reps Majority Leader Give Deadline For Fresh Election


The house of representative majority leader, Alhassan Doguwa, has been sacked the court of appeal sitting in Kaduna.

Recall that Doguwa’s victory was challenged Yasha’u Salisu a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, on basis that the election was marred irregularities.

After much ruling the court, The tribunal upheld Doguwa’s victory trashing Salisu’s petition.

However, an appeal court sitting in Kaduna nullified the result on monday, after it has judiciously tried the petition and finding out that the election was indeed marred with irregularities.

The court then ordered that a fresh election be conducted the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, within 90 days.
