Chad Soldiers withdraw from fighting Boko Haram In Nigeria

Republic of Chad has withdrawn its soldiers aiding Nigerian Armies in the fight against Bokoharam.

This is action taken Chad barely 24hrs after the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari proposed the withdrawal of Nigeria troops from troubled areas in the country.

Army spokesperson for Chad, Colonel Azem Bermandoa, while making the disclosure to AFP on Saturday, said Chad soldiers has ended its mission fighting against Bokoharam in Nigeria.

Bermandoa said, “It’s our troops who went to aid Nigerian soldiers months ago returning home. They have finished their mission. None of our soldiers remains in Nigeria.”
