In recognition of the extraordinary potential of these students, we’ve created the MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship. We’ve intentionally designed this scholarship program to be as broad as possible to match the broad, diverse experiences of international students. There’s no requirement to be an MPOWER borrower to apply.
About Scholarship Institution
Our signature scholarship program, the MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship, awards up to $5,000 to international students at schools we support. Check out our amazing winners for Spring 2019, and Summer 2019! We are currently hard at work selecting the winners for the round that closed on November 15, 2019. The due date for our next round is April 15, 2020.

For students who are currently enrolled or accepted to study full-time degree program at a school MPOWER supports.
Eligibility Status
You’re eligible if you are:
- Accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school that MPOWER supports.
- An international student allowed to legally study in the U.S. or Canada.
- Excited to share your dream with the MPOWER team and the world.
