BOOM!! Kano State Govt Issues Death Penalty To Child Kidnappers and Traffickers

The Kano State Government has approved death penalty as punishment for anyone found guilty of kidnapping in the state.

The state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje gave the order on Friday at the Government House, while receiving 9 children who were abducted from Kano and trafficked in Anambra State.

The Governor also set up a committee to look into the amendment of the law regarding to kidnapping and other child trafficking issues.

He also charged Justice Wada Rank, who would head the committee to commence inquiry into cases of missing people from the state as from 2010 till date and report back to him within 30days.

The state governor has also ordered the distribution of one million naira to each of the 9 children who were trafficked.
