The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has finally suspended call over election boycott, barely few hours to election.
Nnamdi Kanu on his Twitter handle said he has suspended the election boycott across Biafraland because the preconditions and terms have been met.
He tweets:
“Having confirmed this evening that all our preconditions and terms have been met, signed, sealed and delivered; I hereby call-off the election boycott across Biafraland on Feb. 16, 2019. I dedicate this historic victory to the formidable #IPOB family worldwide”, Kanu said via Twitter.
Igbere TV recalls that before now, Kanu has insisted that IPOB will Boycott the 2019 general elections.
