FEAR OF ATIKU: Tribunal Sets To Deliver Final Judgment

Today 11 Sept 2019, the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal is expected to deliver its final verdict on the concluded 2019 Presidential election.

This was disclosed by the spokesperson of the Court of Appeal, Sa’adatu Musa, in a notice on Tuesday, September 10. Musa said the final judgment will be delivered today by 9:00 am.

Recall that the presidential candidate of the peoples Democraty Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has petitioned the Tribunal over the out come of the concluded Presidential Election stating that he(Atiku) polled 18,356,732 votes to defeat Buhari who had 16,741,430 votes, result he said was supposed election result he got from INEC server.

INEC on the other hand denied the fact that election results were transmitted through its server, insisting that it released result which declared the incumbent President Muhamadu Buhari winner with 15,191,847 votes, and Atiku the petitioner 11,262,978 votes were correct and authentic.
