Former Man-U Player Fellaini Confirmed of Coronavirus, becomes first victim in Chinese League

Former Manchester United player, Marouane Fellaini, has been confirmed of infected by the deadly disease coronavirus. [Talkmill Reports]

This was made know by his Chinese Club Shandong Luneng on Sunday.

“The 32-year-old Belgian international midfielder has a normal temperature and is feeling fine, but is under observation and having treatment at a designated medical facility”.

“The club will do its best to help in the treatment and recovery of the player.” the club said.

Also confirming the report, Fellaini posted on twitter at the early hours of Sunday and it reads thus:

“Dear friends, I have been tested for coronavirus and my test result is positive”.

“Thanks to the fans, medical staff and the club for their care and attention. I will follow the treatment and hope to return to the game as soon as possible. Please everyone stay safe.”

The club also noted that the Chinese best Forward, Wu Lei, was also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Just like Paulo Dybala (juventus Striker), Callum Hudsom-Odoi (Chelsea Winger) and Mikel Arteta (Arsenal Manager) Marouane Fellani is another high-profiled footballer that has been tested positive of this deadly disease Coronavirus.

The coronavirus since its emergence in Wuhan, China has killed 13,000 people and infecting more than 300,000 as at today.
