Admissible Criteria:

To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Citizen / permanent resident / international student.
  • A full-time or full-time junior student earning an undergraduate degree offered by the Department of Computer Science (CS, SE, or Data Science) at Jonsson School.
  • Merit-based academic – a minimum GPA of 3.3.
  • Among equally eligible applicants, preference will be given to students who (1) demonstrate the greatest potential for success in the field of computer science and software engineering and (2) demonstrate leadership capabilities, community volunteer work, or work experience.
  • The recipient must sign a FERPA release form that allows UT Dallas to use the application materials for scholarship purposes
