On Monday, the Shiites staged a protest in Banex, Wuse Area Of Abuja(FCT) over the killing of a top Iranian general Qasem Soleimani by the US government.
During the protest, members of the Shiites were seen chanting hate songs, burning the United States of America flag and carrying plan cards with the inscription “DEATH TO AMERICA”
They also demanded the release of their leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat who are currently in detention, Channels Television reports
Although no casualties were recorded, the IGP has ordered the arrest of Shiites leaders national wide.
