The scholarship is relative easy to get and the only requirements are a GPA of at least 2.0 and a 250-word essay about your academic goals and the contribution that you have made
for your community, the scholarship is worth $300 and is awarded Monthly, so you have a chance of getting it.

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program

This scholarship is sponsored by the U.S. State Department and aims at providing scholarships to study abroad in Germany; the fun fact about the scholarship is that you don’t need to have knowledge of German to be able to apply for this scholarship.

This is a very competitive scholarship but it is one that I definitely recommend to you to apply for, the only key requirement
needed for applying is a minimum GPA of 3.0, I recommend that you apply for this scholarship, please take note that its yearly deadline is in the month of
December.

Define Yourself Scholarship

This is another of my personal favorites on this list and is one of the best scholarships for high school students. One of the unique and intriguing things about it is that it is not merit based, but is based on the profile of the applicant on the GoEnnounce platform.

The scholarship is worth $500 and is given to the student to help with the cost of tuition, the scholarship is always ongoing and people are awarded monthly, it deadline for application is on 30th of every month, so I recommend you try this one out.

Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Abroad Program

This is another perfect and amazing scholarship that I personally recommend for anyone that is applying for a high school scholarship. The scholarship is for international high schools students who wish to study in the USA and targets countries with a high Muslim population, the successful student will be living with a host family.

I recommend that you try and check out this particular
scholarship, the only necessary thing you must have before you consider applying Is that you must currently be a high school student living in one of the participating countries of the program

The National Langue Security Initiative Program

This lovely and amazing program is run by the U.S. State Department and aims at increasing language learning in some specific languages.

The languages are; Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Korean, Persian, Russian, and Turkish. I recommend that you check out the scholarship, as it doesn’t
have so much eligibility criteria, the only main criteria for applying that the applying student must have a minimum GPA of 2.6 and must be learning any one of the above-mentioned languages.

Sol Abroad Scholarships

I love this particular scholarship and the chances of getting are high considering that five of it is given yearly. $100-$500 is the worth of the scholarship and is aimed at reducing the cost of study. Please note that you have to have a high academic standing to be considered for this scholarship.

CIEE Program Scholarships

This particular scholarship offers partial scholarships to qualified students to assist in the cost of study in any of their programs in the following countries, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, and Sweden.

One thing I love about their particular scholarship is that it has such a wide range of places to choose that you will go to, thus fulfilling your adventure specs. Please note that this scholarship is
only available to students of the CIEE program participants only.

The Greenheart Travel Scholarship

The Greenheart Travel company that specializes in offering programs for high school students who wish to study abroad hosts this particular scholarship. It
is a scholarship for first-time travelers only.

Therefore, if you have yet to travel abroad then this scholarship may be right for you Please note that to be eligible to apply, you must be First-time traveler
participating in a Greenheart Travel program, I really recommend the problem, and I actually advise you to hurry up and apply because the yearly deadline
is in the month of February.

The Experiment in International Learning Scholarship This is another worthy mention on this list, it a prestigious scholarship available to students who want to pursue their high school education abroad.
