Ogun State Police has arrested a 29-year-old man identified as Owolabi Folorunso Adewale, for allegedly killing his 99-year-old aunt to death.
The suspect was arrested on Monday at his Maraisa Lane, Igan Road Ago-Iwoye, in Ijebu North Local Government Area of the state.
According to a statement by the spokesperson of the Ogun State police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the machete used by the suspect to bring his Aunt Ebunola Aroboto to death was also recovered.
On interrogation the suspect admitted that he killed the old woman, for allegedly being responsible for the spiritual problems he had encountered.
The suspect has also claimed that his now deceased aunt always used her “supernatural power” to block him from winning anytime he played lotto.
