It has been gathered that protesters of #REVOLUTION NOW, has on Monday 5th August 2019 staged a protest at the streets of the national stadium Lagos.
According to reports reaching Talkmill, the #Revolution Now protest has commenced already at the commercial city of Lagos as heavily armed security operatives surrounded the venue in bid to stop them.
Eliaz Ozikpu one of the protesters while speaking with TheCableNews said that he was discussing the protest plans with others when some security operatives approached them ordering them not to talk to the press.
“We were standing here, while they watched us from the other side. Suddenly, they moved on us and said we can’t talk to the press. We weren’t even talking to the press yet. We were addressing ourselves,” he said.
Other Reports gather from other sources has it that the surrounding security operatives has fired tear gas in order to disperse the protesters.
Recall that the convener of the protest Omoyele Sowore was arrested at the early hours Saturday by members of the DSS
