Yale is one of the eight universities that make up the Ivy League. It has been ranked as one of America’s best universities for over two hundred years by publications such as U.S. News & World Report, Washington Monthly and Forbes.[8] As of 2018[update], Yale’s undergraduate admissions rate was 5 per cent,[9] making it again one of the most selective colleges in the United States.[10][11][12]

Many top universities offer athletic scholarships.
Many top universities offer athletic scholarships. These are unique awards given to student-athletes who excel in their sport and show promise of being able to go professional after college. The NCAA, the governing body for most intercollegiate sports, has strict guidelines regarding which sports can qualify for an athletic scholarship and how much it can be.
For example, at my university (which I’ll call “University A”), the basketball team has four players who received full rides based on their skills and how well they could fit into the team’s style of play. Eight other players had partial scholarships; this meant that even though they got money from our school every year, it wasn’t enough to cover all their expenses like tuition or housing—they still had to work part-time jobs on top of being full-time students!
Our football team was different: because we’re not an NCAA Division 1 program yet (only two years out from becoming one), we don’t have any football scholarships yet either.
Conclusion
If you are a student-athlete and want to continue your education, you should consider applying for a college scholarship. There are many schools out there that offer athletic scholarships to attract athletes from all over the world. Students must do their research before making any decisions about schools or sports programs because there are many factors involved in choosing which one will be best suited for them.
