GUBER ELECTIONS: SEE FULL LIST OF NEWLY ELECTED GOVERNORS AND THEIR POLITICAL PARTIES

In conclusion of the 2019 gubernatorial elections, which has produced 27 governors-elect, Talkmill has compiled a list of governors elected in the just concluded governorship election. SEE FULL LIST BELOW.

However, some States like Rivers, Adamawa and Bauchi are still undecided as at time of this post, But INEC has conducted election in 4 states Plateau, Benue, Sokoto and Kano on Saturday.

Without wasting much time, below is the full list of the gov/governors-elect and their political parties:

1. Okezie Ikpeazu (PDP) Abia State

2. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi – (PDP) Enugu State.

3. David Umahi – (PDP) Ebonyi State

4. Inuwa Yahaya (APC) Gombe State

5. Abubakar Bello (APC) Niger State

6. Seyi Makinde (PDP) Oyo State

7. Emmanuel Udom (PDP) Akwa Ibom State

8. Prof. Ben Ayade (PDP) Cross River

9. MaiMala Buni (APC) Yobe State

10. Babanide Sanwo-Olu (APC) Lagos State

11. Dapo Abiodun (APC) Ogun

12. Ifeanyi Okowa (PDP) Delta.

13. Babagana Zulum (APC) Borno

14. Mallam Nasir El-Rufai (APC) Kaduna)

15. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha (PDP) Imo

16. Mohammed Badaru (APC) Jigawa

17. Aminu Masari (APC) Katsina

18. Atiku Bagudu (APC) Kebbi

19. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (APC) Kwara

20. Abdullahi Sule (APC) Nasarawa

21. Abubakar Bello (APC) Niger State.

22. Muktar Idris (APC) Zamfara

23. Darius Ishaku (PDP) Taraba

24. Samuel Ortom (PDP) Benue

25: Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (APC) Kano

26: Aminu Tambuwal (PDP) Sokoto

27. Simon Lalong (APC) Plateau

6 States listed below were not affected by the election since elections were conducted in 2018 in those states.

However, Adeleke of PDP has been declared winner by the Osun Governorship Election Tribunal, and the sitting Governor, Oyetola of the APC has rejected the Tribunal ruling insisting to challenge the ruling in court.

28. John Fayemi (APC) Ekiti

29. Seriake Dickson (PDP) Bayelsa

30. Willie Obiano (APGA) Anambra

31. Osun (undecided between Oyetola and Adeleke)

32. Rotimi Akeredolu (APC) Ondo

33. Godwin Obaseki (APC) Edo

3 states are YET to be decided by INEC these are:

34. Adamawa (undecided)

35. Rivers (undecided)

36. Bauchi (undecided)

 

Total PDP 14 States, APC 17 States and APGA 1 State.
